my process

wedding films are so much deeper than just a pretty video; they are a piece of history, an heirloom you can pass down for generations. i do not take that lightly and i appreciate you for considering me to be apart of your big day!

first, we will set up a phone call or we can text about your vision for your big day. we will chat about your love story, your vision for your big day, and any questions you have for me.

second: all of my wedding packages come with a complimentary engagement session. i believe context matters and the engagement session gives us a chance to not only get to know each other, but to gauge how you and your partner interact in front of the camera and with each other. the bonus is that you get a bad ass video to celebrate your engagement and you won’t have a complete stranger show up to film your wedding!

third: weddings are not a one size fits all category. each one is unique, just like your love, and it deserves to be captured accordingly! we will thoroughly discuss the shots that really matter to you before the big day, and once that day comes, i will be your biggest advocate in making sure that you have the experience you deserve.

after that, be prepared to have your love story come to life on screen with a perfectly curated film that truly paints the day as it happened!

  • Yes! I have filmed love stories in 23 states, and am always happy to pack my bags and come to you! I only ask that my plane ticket, rental car, and lodging are covered.

  • I pride myself on the amount of thought, dedication, and research I put into picking music for your film. I’ll start by asking you for a playlist of songs that you feel best tell your love story. From there I will source and legally license music with a similar vibe and message.

  • an engagement video can range from an artistic, edgy video to a cute date night on camera! There’s no wrong way to show up on camera, and I am happy to help you plan every detail of it.

  • Absolutely! To book, I require a $1000 retainer fee that goes towards your total. The rest isn’t due until 30 days before your big day, so you are welcome to make payments as wanted until then.

  • You will get a teaser trailer within 7 days of your big day, and the remaining film or films will be sent within 60-90 days of your event date.

  • To start, I always film wedding days using dual slot cameras, meaning from the moment I press record your files are immediately backed up to two different places. Immediately after arriving home, those files will again be backed up onto two more hard drives and placed into a fire and waterproof safe. All four copies of your raw video will be stored until your final videos are delivered.
